There’s not much information on this route on the net, nothing in print as far as I’m aware. These below are the best resources I found along the way. The information is up to date at the time of writing (March 2018)

IAT-NL & IAT-SIA

The IAT-NL website has information about the route in its Trails section with a general description and location maps. Anything else must be requested from the Contact link.

I particularly enjoyed the great article about the geology of the area introduced in this NL chapter site, then linked and farther developed in the IAT-SIA site. A fascinating read with great pictures.

Gros Morne National Park

The Parks Canada site for the Gros Morne National Park provides information for the Northern & Long Range Traverse routes as well as hikes in the Tablelands area. Of special interest is the Backpacking resources section.

Eric’s Hikes UltramaTrex

This is a nice description and report of what was allegedly the first continuous hike of the area I later covered in sections 1 & 2 of my own trip. There’s an enticing summary report in the IAT-NL site and a detailed daily account in the author’s own site. There are other reports on the web for shorter hikes in all mountain areas covered here but hiking through it all makes for a different story.
